My fellow fashion lovers, I’ve devoted quite a few blog posts to my repugnance of wearing jeans. Because of my blog, this has blissfully changed. I’ve come to my fashion senses that denim and other pants are a delight to wear. Or maybe it’s because I finally met my true partner in crime?

Last Friday, G-Star Antwerp celebrated Global Women’s Night: Slim Fit Edition. They wanted us to get to know their five different types of slim fits. But I got to know a lot more. Call it ignorance but I always thought G-Star’s collections were a lot more different. I was afraid to have a look inside their stores out of fear of finding horrible, horrible clothes (Sophie‘s language is starting to grow on me). But luckily for my ticket to denim heaven! I got to know the brand and I had the best fitting room experience ever known to mankind. No, not what you think!

Trying on pants, especially the jeans kind, sounds terrifying even thinking about it. So you can already imagine I was not eager to step into that wooden box with mirrors, they call dressing rooms. I asked for a denim with a lot of stretch and apparently, I was very lucky. G-Star developed a jeans so stretchy, you hardly notice you’re wearing one. Sounds like music to my ears! I came, I tried on and I conquered. I love the jeans, the cut, my bootie in it, the length, the color, its feel,… And you’ll definitely do to. Curious? It’s the 3301 Contour Skinny (Superstretch) in dark blue!
