It’s dark in the day, now say, now don’t complain. Look up, the sun is just a cloud away… dixit Rihanna in the twelfth song of her Unapologetic album. Some good advice if you’re struggling with some things at home, at work or at school. 2012 hasn’t been easy on me either but I stayed positive and all of a sudden, good news was around the corner!

I’ve been on the hunt for an internship for almost 8 months or so and it was hard to capture people’s attention. From one email came the other and after a brief assignment, I got asked to come over for an interview… Yes, you might know it already: I’ll be doing my internship over at Marie Claire in the Netherlands!!! I’m over the top happy and really looking forward to it. The only thing to do now, is find an appartment. So if you now some empty student rooms in NL, do let me know! In between this good news, I also found a new job which will help me save up some money for my 3 month stay in Amsterdam.

So, your days might look dark sometimes, but just stay positive! Call it bullcrap but I had one lucky charm during these past months, you know… The Evil eye that Diamanti Per Tutti sent me over, has been on my wrist and helping me through every inevitable obstacle every since. From childhood on, I’ve been told that this certain eye keeps away all bad luck. Well, I believe it did this time! Thanks again for this beautiful bracelet. It’s subtle but means so much to me!
