H&M x Versace

I wish I could start this post by saying what a wonderful time I had in NYC during my stay there for the H&M and Versace collaboration. I’d love to brag about how I partied with Jessica Alba and Blake Lively, chitchatted with Donatella and danced to Nicki’s and Prince’s music. But no… I haven’t got any of those things to say other than what I actually did yesterday! I got to see the collection up close in the H&M headquartesabove the flagship store – in Rue Neuve, Brussels. I was surprised and confused at the same time. Okay, Versace is tacky and not really my style, but I think some pieces could fit in my wardrobe. I’m talking about the leather garment with studds and that beautiful purple dress! The flower jean jacket is also pretty awesome, but some things are just… How should I put it? Fugly. Maybe the pieces could work seperately, but the styling is just horrible. As with every H&M collab, I’m just going to sleep in and enjoy my comfy bed ^^ I might buy something when I still see a piece hanging during sales.

P.S. These pictures were taken with me iPhone camera, because I forgot my Nikon at home … Go figure ^^

Did you know…?

… that WE launched an online store? I’m not a big WE shopper, but my boyfriend sometimes buys basic things such as sweater, cardigans or tshirts there and sometimes I even find something I like. But the brand knows how to satisfy their costumers, so they hopped on the train to the world of internet. The online shop offers everything: from knitwear to jewelry and shoes and back to jackets and coats again! You can see the items I liked the most above. How gorgeous is that knitted cardigan for the guys? I’d totally wear that one! The bag is also from the men’s departmentthey do have prettier bags! - and the rest are just simple things such as a basic navy striped dress, a printed poncho and a burgundy sweater. Let’s see how it turns out, but just remember: there’s always the real store and we all know how fun shopping in real life can be ;-)

Missing piece

I’ve told you already on Twitter, but something sad happened… I lost my Monki hat! The one and only headpiece I loved to wear, the only one that fitted and the one that became my trademark! I’m actually kind of sad… Because I really loved it a lot and it also meant a lot to me. I bought it when I was in Amsterdam for fashion week and I immediately put it on for the show. I never took it off ever since. I even thought my fellow bloggers were already tired of seeing me with it, but they didn’t. They actually loved it! So I hope you understand how sad it makes me… I think I know where it is, but I’m afraid I’ll never get it back… I wanted to wear it today to make my outfit complete, but there’s definitely going to be a missing piece …

In the pictures I’m wearing my Monki hat, an Asos jumper, a Forever 21 blouse, Stradivarius knee socks and Topshop loafers
