A few weeks ago I got a somewhat special request in my mailbox. I was invited to a store where I’d get to style a whole outfit around one scarf. The brand I’m talking about? ‘Mais il est où le Soleil?‘ or literally: Where’s the sun? A question I often ask myself in Belgium I found this request rather challenging… MIEOLS is not at all my place to shop and the clothes are not really my style, but as any other fashion lover, I do love a fashionable challenge! So… I went, I styled and I overcome! While the head of the brand showed us a few of the key pieces, my eyes fell upon a very cool jacket/coat/blazer/whateveritis. It had details like no other jacket and that’s what I liked about it. I knew I had to have it! My outfit was rather girly and not really what I’m used to wearing. The things I absolutely loved were the jacket, the shorts and the over the knee socks!

The scarf was also part of the story, of course. This one is actually a showpiece of the ‘Mais il est où le Soleil?’ 2011 winter collection. It was handmade with wool threads and pieces of fabric in many different colors – as you can see This gives the scarf a unique and colorful aspect. Hey everyone! I’m in Barcelona at the moment and I think I’m about to head to the beach! The sun should be present today – at least I hope so – so I can get a tan. I promised myself I’d head back home sunkissed or as red as a tomato. All white is not an option ^^ Anyways, I wore this outfit to the Mr & Mrs Tweed store opening with Vintage Hollywood as the dresscode. I thought I’d go all black with some touches of color such as the red lips and tan heels. Surprisingly, I’m wearing an – almost – all vintage outfit; expect for the shoes and bags I kind of dig the first picture! It looks like I’ve got blue eyes and I’m loving it! Oh oh, I should be enjoying the sunny weather, so I’m off… Vamos a la playa ^^

Hi there! Enjoying your saturday already? I thought I’d give you yet another outfit post and ask you a little favor in return… First of all, I realised I’ve visited Antwerp quite a lot this and the previous month. And yes, it all had to do with blogging. I spent my wednesday with Kim and Annebeth for a ‘project‘ – you’ll see more about that next week . Luckily, I’m not camera shy when Annebeth is around, so we took some pictures et voilà… here they are!
